The world is an amazing place. From the depths of the Marianas Trench to the lush tracts of the Amazon rain forest to the towering heights of the Himalayas, the diversity and enormity of the world can never fail to inspire and humble its human inhabitants. I have devoted this blog to chronicling the diversity of life on this planet – after skimming the internet for a list of the most interesting and fantastic organisms the world has to offer, I found nothing satisfying. I myself have compiled a pretty extensive list of amazing and awesome organisms, ranging from three-eyed beetles to giant beans to, of course, the most impressive mantis shrimp, life forms that many people have either never heard of, don’t appreciate, or want to research even more.

I hope that by reading my posts you will learn more about life and its unimaginable diversity. If you have any suggestions for amazing forms of life, please suggest them; I am forever surprised by how much I do not know.
